Here are a couple of useful utilities you can use in support of World of Tanks.

Free Screen Recorder - Bandicam is what I use to record the battles in WoT. The basic version is free, and it works great with World of Tanks. I'd recommend this software.

WinRar Latest version - WinRar supports both zip and rar archive files. Many downloads are distributed in RaR format - WinRar does the job really well.
