World of Tanks System Requirements

Minimum system requirements:

CPU: 2 GHz
RAM: 1 GB
Video: GeForce 6600GT (128 MB) / ATI analog
HDD: 2GB
Connection rate: 128 Kbps

Average system requirements:

CPU: 3 GHz
RAM:2 GB
Video: GeForce 8600GT (256 MB) / ATI analog
HDD: 2GB
Connection rate: 128 Kbps

Maximum system requirements:

CPU: 2 Core 3 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Video: GeForce 9800 (512 MB) / ATI analog
HDD: 2GB
Connection rate: 1024 Kbps or higher (for faster downloads)

World of Tanks requires any series of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

The above are the offical system requirements from the game site. However I tested WoT on the following specifications:-

CPU: Pentium D 2.66 GHz
RAM: 1 GB
Video: ATI Radeon 9600 (256MB) / X1050 Series
HDD: 200GB
Connection rate: 5 MB (5 Megabyte home broadband)

The result was unplayable even on low graphic settings. Framerates were simply too low that I couldn't aim or control my tank effectively.

On my laptop computer:-

CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz (T6500)
RAM: 4 GB
Video: GeForce G102M (512MB)
HDD: 320GB
Connection rate: 5 MB (5 Megabyte home broadband)

On low graphic settings, the framerate is between 15 to 20 fps. Very slight sluggishness, but its still feels playable at that rate.

I currently play WoT with the following:-

CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Video: GeForce 9500 GT (512MB)
HDD: 320GB
Connection rate: 5 MB (5 Megabyte home broadband)

On medium graphic settings, the gameplay is quite smooth at between 40 to 60 fps. On high graphic settings, the framerate drops to between 20 to 40 fps, but its still feels playable at that rate. I just stick to medium settings.
