Selected 0 rows. Premium ammo shown in blue. Price may be expressed in credits or gold. Premium shells are paid using gold. They are indicated with a "g" behind the price. NB:- A shell's ability to penetrate is determined by the armor thickness, angle of impact, distance to target, and penetration ability of the ammo itself. The ammo's penetration ability is a random number between the "Penetration From" and "Penetration To" value of the ammo. For AP, APCR and HEAT shells, the round must penetrate the armor in order to do damage. No damage is done in the event of non-penetration (other than breaking the tracks). If a round penetrates, it may cause damage to the victim. The actual amount of damage inflicted is a random number between the "Damage From" and "Damage To" value of the ammo. But even if a round penetrates, it does not automatically reduce the hitpoints of the victim. According to the developers, the shot could have hit a module and damaged it, or it can go straight through without causing any damage. Although this doesn't make sense, but that appears to be the way it is. For HE shells, it does not need to penetrate the armor to do damage. If penetration is achieved, it causes full damage according to the Damage value of the ammo. If it did not penetrate, but scored a direct hit, then 50% of the Damage value is applied. If the round missed, but landed close enough for Splash damage, the damage is based on the distance to the target. In this way, it is possible to damage (or even destroy) more than one target with a single HE shot. Crew and internal modules may also be damaged/destroyed by HE, regardless whether it penetrated, scored a direct hit or not. Splash damage is only for HE shells. It specifies the radius (in meters) of the splash damage. For easy measurement, the length of a Tiger tank is 6.3 meters. Some shells have a splash damage radius longer than the length of a Tiger. Rate of Fire and Accuracy is dependant on the vehicle. The higher the vehicle tier, the better the performance. Aiming Time is attached the gun, and appears to be a constant value.
